Does it feel like time is slowing down
I always feel like I'm dreaming now
Do you feel we've gone to far
or have we found a place to start
In the midst of life
Caught up in a place where we are blind
To all the turns we take within our minds
Never reaching out or saying why
I guess it will work itself out in due time
At a crossroads looking at yourself
Theres no room for no one else
How does it feel to see your down and out?
Do you get the chills when I'm around?
Ride the elevator to the sun
No point in hiding if you've got the gun
Find new ways to redefine your love
Never losing your site of the one
You'll give up everything before its done
Is this life or just some place called hell
I love the times when its hard to tell
Rewrite the book so the words just write themselves
I wouldn't rather no one else
This is a fab album. There are strong echoes of UK psych and sunshine pop - the songwriting and vocals remind me of the bands associated with John Pantry - high praise indeed (do grab a copy of 'the Upsidedown World of... if you haven't heard it). The Zombies and the Kinks are in there too, as well as more recent bands like Green Pajamas. The band keep it simple, which is a bonus with a psych-inflected album - they let the wonderful songwriting shine through. Buy this, pop pickers!

Though seven years have passed since their last release, the band’s hooky, slightly shoegazey sound remains intact with hints of gothic gloom and ramshackle synth-pop. Bandcamp Album of the Day Aug 7, 2020
